Vacation time brother!

ok, countdown to Thailand! Have I mentioned before that I love airports? Those hello kitty gates, the luggage, the noise the people and the bathrooms. The Narita airport has octopus burgers at McDonalds and toilets with a dozen buttons on them. Even the airport in Georgia has self wrapping toilets and the largest spiders I've ever seen crawling around the floor.

I can't say I remember much about the last time I was in Thailand about the Phuket airport. I'll pay closer attention this time. I do remember a wide assortment of prostitution books and lady boy stories at the book store.
I'll be on the lookout for ladyboys and cool toilets.

And then it will be the beach. And it will be as perfect as I imagine it. It'll be just like this...

despite the weather supposed to be like this

whatever, I'll still be doing this...

happy chinese new year me!

IMDb - John Carter (2012)

Oh awesome, although he's not really how I imagined the prince of mars looking this is totally the perfect time to make this series into a movie.

Maybe I'll try my hand at drawing the hairy anteater vacuum ape things.

'Twas the Night

Hooray, lets write a story Lilly!

'Twas the night before the first day of school. She was sitting there dreading the thought of going back to school to a brand new Winter quarter. It was the first time she wasn't excited about going back to a new start, maybe because she felt like she was already used to the change before it had even started. There's an open textbook laid flat upon her bed but she hasn't touched it since then. She's got bigger and better things on her plate, like a delicious sauerkraut. She's not hungry to learn but she's hungry for food. We don't know why but she's been constantly eating even though she set a New Year's resolution to diet and exercise better.
Other than her ravenous diet, she continues to sit in front of her computer talking to various friends and colleagues alike about their new schedule. So far, everyone else's schedule conflicts with hers. She doesn't care though, she plans ahead on the first day and expects to go straight home after her last class to take a good long nap. School seems to be a roadblock for her. What else does she plan on doing at this time? Does she have hidden ambitions like crossed-fingers behind her back?

'Twas still the same night. Winter quarter at the international school of poaching just didn't have the flash and bang it did the first few years. Textbooks on the best way to stalk and hunt exotic animals are all fine and good but nothing beats the thrill of target practice. Taking that extra class on making your own sausage from the leftover animal parts that collectors didn't buy was paying off. Sauerkrat just isn't the same without some meat. Oh, that's probably it! That field exercise over in South America, they warned us about eating what we caught. A tapeworm was a likely source of all this agitation and feeling hungry.Or maybe its just the empty hole where fellow student and close friend, Geoff used to be. Friends come and go in this business. That's what the school was started for, keeping people and traditions alive.
Do you know how many poisons can be made from a puffer fish? Do you know the ritual hunting dance of the only people in the world who know where to find the elusive Malabar Large Spotted Civet? Well, if you're about to graduate from this school you sure would.
Although, classrooms and books make for poor substitutes, why study when you can go and experience the adrenaline, the fear, the pleasure of the hunt. Once you've shot everything worth anything though...what's next? What's the point?
